Today in music history – Rolling Stones started writing one of the greatest rock songs of all time!

“I can’t get no satisfaction

I can’t get no satisfaction

Cause’ I try and I try and I try and I try

I can’t get no, I can’t get no

When I’m drivin’ in my car

And that man comes on the radio

He’s tellin’ me more and more

About some useless information

Supposed to fire my imagination

I can’t get no, oh no, no, no

Hey hey hey, that’s what I say”

Who doesn’t know these lyrics and as soon as they start likely out of habit you turn the volume up loud and “rock out” to the Rolling Stones “Satisfaction”.  On this day in music history in 1965 Mick Jagger and Keith Richards started writing “Satisfaction”.  “Satisfaction” would go on to be one of the greatest rock songs of all.  From The Rollingstones list of top 500 songs Satisfaction was given the number 2 spot.
